Road Racing – Building and Racing a Gokart
“Road racing” is primarily a competition for constructors, although it is the drivers who ultimately collect the trophy. The task of 4-6 person teams is to build their own two-seater race cars using the available materials and tools. To be allowed on the starting line, the cars must pass the usual technical inspection. Here, the cars must meet two conditions: they must be easy to steer and the brakes must function flawlessly. If all is in order, the race can begin!
The race takes place on a designated steep and winding road section. The team whose car achieves the best time on the designated section in multi-round heats wins. Within the time allotted for the race, cars that break down or become inoperable during the race can be repaired, and broken or lost parts can be replaced. The program concludes with the recognition of the constructors and drivers, and the awarding of prizes.
Possible number of participants: 18-80 people
Duration: 4-6 hours
Location: at a location agreed upon with the client / travel fee over 100 km.
