Picture perfect relationships
A game developed by Outcome Hungary.
An excellent warm-up, introductory game before longer programs, it can be especially useful for team members who don't know each other or only know each other slightly, to initiate acquaintance and lay the foundation for team cooperation. Every team member finds their place in the task, and the game provides the important experience of connecting with each other.
Each team member receives a picture, which they cannot show to each other. Their task is to arrange the pictures in the correct order by only talking to each other, without communicating in any other way, and they can only check their assumptions after the complete sequence has been set up. But what connects the pictures? Identical visual elements? Identical characters? Perhaps a story? At first glance, one or two pictures seem to not belong here at all...
Communication, listening, leadership, participation - we can analyze many areas of team functioning in connection with this task. The pictures themselves are interesting and provide many opportunities for association, so we can indirectly get a picture of the group's mood from the associations.
Possible number of participants: 8-31 people (or any number, divided into several groups of 12-31 people)
Duration: approx. 60 minutes, execution approx. 30 minutes, debriefing 30 minutes
Location: indoors or outdoors, sufficient free space to form a loose large circle
