Forest Scavenger Hunt – a strategy game
In this strategic game, the emphasis is on finding the balance between competition and cooperation. Teams must meet two types of expectations. On the one hand, they compete against each other to see who can achieve the greatest results, while also keeping the common goal in mind. However, this requires that the initial competition against each other eventually be replaced by cooperation. This transition is often not smooth, and thus the realization of the common goal is at stake. Communication between the teams scattered in the forest is provided by radio connection, and orientation by a map. Before the competition, participants distribute the roles within the team, and thus the areas of responsibility, among themselves. At the end of the program, before the announcement of results, participants share with each other how well they managed to fill these different roles. The results achieved by the teams, and thus their performance, can be accurately measured.
